Trials With Hope is a fundraising initiative for Vision 2020. Due to the COVID-19 Circuit Breaker in Singapore, the closure of many sports organisations and facilities affected both the organisation and the PWDs.
ISSUE
Many PWDs reported feeling distressed as a result of being friends, instructors and even coaches due to the lesser opportunities they have in sports due to COVID-19.
INSIGHT
PWDs report higher levels of mental distress due to the absence of social contact and their limited opportunities in sports.
